Where not to install an AC?

The indoor unit should not be placed directly above a bed or seating area where people will have cold air blowing on them constantly. Avoid walls that face direct afternoon sun, as heat transfer through the wall affects efficiency.

Do not place the indoor unit in a corner or too close to the ceiling if it restricts airflow. The outdoor unit should never be installed in a confined space with poor ventilation, as it needs clear airflow to expel heat.

Avoid placing the outdoor unit in direct western sun if possible, and keep it well clear of garden beds or areas where vegetation will grow around it. Do not position either unit where drainage cannot be properly managed.

Blue Mountains Air will assess your home and recommend the best position for both units before installation begins.
